In late 2023, Paslin began integrating Teamcenter, a Product Data Management (PDM) system, into it's engineering department.
PDM systems like Teamcenter are essential tools for managing and controlling product data and engineering processes throughout the product lifecycle. By adopting Teamcenter, Paslin aims to improve data consistency, accelerate product development cycles, and facilitate better decision-making and faster to market through more efficient management of engineering documents and data.
In conjunction with this integration, Paslin is also exploring the implementation of virtual commissioning technologies. Virtual commissioning involves using digital simulations and models to test and validate automated systems before they are physically built or deployed. This will allows engineers to identify and address potential issues in a virtual environment, reducing the risk of costly errors and downtime during actual integration.
